A publication on the evolution of Mexican film posters and some account of the evolution of the artists responsible for this creative process. Unlike previous works on the film poster in Mexico is this book gives an overview of the Mexican film’ poster from the beginning of cinema, that is, from the first posters, the first ads was for Lumiere cinema, even more sophisticated posters you can find today that many of them have an inspiration Hollywood or traces of what was the poster tradition the «golden age.» The book provides valuable information on Mexican cinema and production of posters, follows, in parallel, the evolution of this film with the evolution of artists, designers who took care of advertising. Includes texts by 8 experts: Federico Dávalos, Francisco Peredo, Gustavo Agrasánchez Jr., Roberto Fiesco, Rafael Aviña, Alejandro Magallanes, Miguel Ángel Arciniega and Rafael Barajas «El Fisgón», whom as «an artist and caricaturist represents an authorized voice on another major figure in Mexican caricture: Ernesto ‘El Chango’ Cabral».
